Stephanie and Travis are high school sweethearts who have traveled all over the world together, and their love of biking and the great outdoors has made Marquette a special place for them! They were married in the orchard at Belsolda Farm surrounded by their friends and family. The joy and energy of all who were present made it so fun to be a part of. They ended their wedding weekend by cliff jumping off of Black Rocks into Lake Superior! What a fantastic way to kick off our 2021 season!

@knotsandkissesevents created and amazing styled shoot to show off this gorgeous new venue. We were so honored to be a part of it and get to film such a beautiful place. The vendor team so was fun and the models did an incredible job. We cannot wait to shoot weddings here in the future. If you need a place for your bridal party to get ready, this is it. 💄 @freshcoastbeauty 📸 @sabrinaleighstudios 🧁 @borealisbakingcompany 🥮 @231west 👗 @sakraforpeace 💍 @richardsonjewelersmqt 💐 @knotsandkissesevents @lexmreilley @jimme_lyn @hlm95@matherinekarsh Hello! We just wanted to give an update on what our bookings look like for 2021 and for 2022! Our schedule is getting pretty full for 2021, our availability is limited to September at this point. If you are considered a wedding film for 2021 we would love to hear from you. We are now also open to booking 2022! We are excited to start planning what that summer will look like and the wonderful people we will get to meet and serve!
Thank you to @sabrinaleighstudios for taking this photo of us at @parkplacemqt! I think we look pretty good 😉 We were so grateful for the opportunity to film Aubrey and Steve’s wedding this October! Aubrey and Steve were married in St. Peter’s Cathedral in Marquette surrounded by their immediate family and closest friends. While they chose to postpone their big celebration to 2021, they couldn’t wait to tie the knot! After their ceremony, we headed to Black Rocks and then to the Old 510 Bridge to get some portraits done with the fall colors! Their day was filled with thoughtfulness! Aubrey carefully hand-crafted so many of the details, including the flowers and her sweet bear cake toppers. The letters they wrote to each other showed the love they share and their excitement for what’s ahead! Aubrey and Steve ended their night with an intimate dinner and a sparkler exit at the train depot in Negaunee. We can’t wait to celebrate their one year anniversary and vow renewal with them next year! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap up our 2020 season! Brittany and Daniel were married on the most beautiful September day on Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. Brittany and Daniel had the most contagious joy throughout the day! Brittany's smile and laughter made it clear how excited they were to be getting married and how much they truly love each other. Their heartfelt vows tell of their love that began at twelve, a love that has seen them through school, careers, and now sees them into marriage. We were so happy to be a part of their day and to get to tell their story. Taylor and Colton did not let 2020 stop them from getting married! They celebrated their love at Taylor's family home. The day started off rainy but just in time the sun came out and it was perfect! You can see how much they care for each other in the words of the letters they wrote each other and how excited they were to be marrying each other! To top it off, the night was wrapped up with an amazing fireworks display just for them. We were honored to get to spend their day with them and were so happy to get to know them. We got to shoot Taylor and Colton's wedding on August 8th, 2020 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! They are so in love and it was so beautiful to see them so excited and happy to marry each other. This is the teaser we made so that they would have it the morning after their wedding. They got to wake up and relive a small part of their wedding! We can't wait to deliver the final film!
It feels as though we are living in a different world these days. We are very blessed to be working from home with our daughter Cece! We’ve been able to witness so many firsts that we might not have seen if things were business as usual.
Our hearts go out to all couples who are or were planning to get married this summer. Wedding planning in general can be so stressful, and our current circumstances make it even more so! In order to take care of our current couples, we are no longer taking new weddings for 2020 and are pausing bookings for 2021. We want to do our best to keep ourselves healthy for our couples who choose to have their weddings this summer, and we also want to make sure that we can accommodate those who make the very difficult decision to postpone to 2021. Everything is changing so quickly, and all involved deserve the time and space to let things settle some before making those decisions. If you are a 2021 couple and are interested in our films, please reach out! We’re excited to meet you! We would be happy to place a soft hold on your date until mid-summer when we start booking again. To all of our couples from previous wedding seasons and all of you who support us, we are hoping you are all staying safe and healthy during this time. P.S. Its easy to social distance with a drone, its 300 feet away from anything! We can’t believe that Cecelia turned 6 months old today! People always say that time flies when you have a child, and they weren’t lying! We’ve loved watching our girl grow and discover the world over the last half year. She’s brought so much joy to our lives and we can’t imagine doing life without her!
Today we also shipped out our last wedding film of the year! Our 2019 season was a busy one, filled with many travel weddings and amazing people! We couldn't have done it without all of the help we received from friends and family. If that meant stepping in to help shoot when Lauren wasn't able or helping to watch Cece, we are truly greatful. We’re quickly booking up for 2020 and are excited for another year ahead filled with celebrating love stories! Mark and Monel met on a long plane ride - it was truly love at first sight. The care and tenderness that they have for each other was on display through every part of their wedding. It was an amazing day of two families coming together into one new family full of love and support.
The back drop of their wedding was a beautiful fall day on the shores of Lake Huron in St. Ignace, Michigan. We had an amazing time capturing Mark and Monel's wedding film and were honored to get to know them. |
